The Measham car auction is one of the biggest British Car Auctions sites available in the UK and is based in, Measham, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, very close to Derby itself.  Not only do we have cars at the auction but we have other types of vehicles for sale such as vans and caravans as well.

Measham Car Auction background information

The Measam car auction was first started not long after the second world ended, and over the years has expanded considerably into nearby fields.

The Measham car auction centre

From those very first humble early days the Measham car auction now has a range of facilities. The car auction houses 3 auction halls; selling used cars, vans, caravans and government impounded vehicles for sale as well.   Cars and other vehicles can be seen even on rainy days under our covered viewing area.  Come what may the auctions go ahead.  We even have a special car auction hall at Measham just set aside for HGV vehicles, light vans and plant.  There will also be another hall opening soon to expand the commercial vehicles side of the business. Measham car auction also has its own 230 seat restaurant and offers buffet teas, so there is always something to eat to keep you going.

Our Measham car auction services – valeting and vehicle appraisals

If you need your car or van valeted professionally come along to the Centre as we have a fully comprehensive valeting service. You can even get your vehicle examined and appraised at this British Car Auction Centre. 

Opening days and hours

The Measham car auction is open, Mondays through to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30 pm. We also run car and vehicle auctions at the weekend and is open on Saturday from 9am to 12pm. 

Directions

It’s not far from Derby, it will only take you about 40 minutes’ drive and on a very direct route; you can take the A42 or the A38. You will find the Measham car auction on the B5493. Just follow the Measham car auction signs.
