What is Derby Chamber of Commerce?

The Derby Chamber of Commerce is part of a long tradition of working to help businesses and companies to grow and develop and to get support and advice. One of the first known chamber of commerce groups, or boards of trade as they are sometimes known as, was formed in France way back in the C16th. The Derby one is a lot newer and works on very modern and up-to-date principles! It is part of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce group, the DNCC.

The Chamber is all about promoting your business, and businesses helping other businesses, and works on a very strong networking basis. Business people become members and can be members of the local board. The Derby chamber is also a means to connect with other chambers of commerce in the UK and beyond.

Services available at Derby Chamber of Commerce

The chamber is not only there to support businesses and companies in the area, but also to advocate on people's behalf and work to change things for he better. The commerce is really knowledgeable about legislation and business and company polices for instance. There are regular meeting and events organised both locally and nationally. Once you are a member you will receive regular updates and a newsletter to keep you well informed.

The Derby Chamber of Commerce is also there to help you reduce your costs and identifying any possible savings you can make

From the M1

From the Derby Junction, junction 25, follow on down the ring road get onto the A38 head to Holloway Circus. Bath Row is where you're heading so turn right here the signs to follow are marked Five Ways Island. Head onto the A456 marked for Kidderminster, turn left when you come to the traffic lights, you will then see us signposted, so just follow on from there. We have our own car park.
