Etwall leisure centre is primarily for the use of John Port school during the day but is open to the general public when not in use by the school.

Activities at Etwall Leisure Centre

 

Keep Fit Classes – A variety of keep fit classes and exercise programs are available including:

 

·         Aerobics

·         Spinning (cycling machines)

·         Boxercise

·         Body Toning

·         Aqua-fit classes

·         Personalised training programs

·         Circuit Training

 

Swimming – The pool at Etwall is 6-laned and measures 12.5m by 25m with a great viewing area. Children under 8 should be accompanied by an adult. Aqua-fit classes take place in the pool and there is also a full calendar of swimming classes available for all ages and abilities.

Adult lessons: Tuesday & Saturday evenings

Children’s lessons: Mon, Weds, fri, Sat evenings & Sat mornings

 

Sports Clubs – there are also a number of sports clubs that meet, play and train regularly at Etwall Leisure Centre. These are:

 

·         Etwall Tennis Club

·         South Derbyshire Water Polo Club

·         Derby Triathlon Club

·         Etwall Eagles Swimming Club
