Due to the popularity of Food Gusto's first Food and Drink Festival we have decided to launch our second one in the picturesque village of Appleby Magna on 27th August 2011 near Derbyshire.

The festival will be filled with stall from local and regional producers and promises to provide great enttertainment all ages.

Features of the Food & Drink festival include a superb hog roast, locally produced beef burgers and artisan pizza so there's no chance you will go hungry.

Stall holders will also be selling locally produced fare such as  sausages, handmade Leicestershire cheese, organic meat, hams, fruity yoghurts, breads cooked in wood fired ovens, dreamy ice cream, fudge, mushrooms, vegetables, jams, pates, herbs, pickles, hand-made crisps and more.

And for lovers of real ale or a penchant for a pint or 2 there will be a variety of beer and wine (all  locally produced) followed by a smooth espresso, cappuccino or simply a cup of tea with a slice of cake. Demonstrations at the festival include those by the School of Artisan Food as well as producers of organic vegetables and also a restaurant wall.
