The sports centre caters for all levels, from those who just want a friendly kick about to those wishing to play competitively with fixtures and results tables updated after every match.

Activities at Willows Sports Centre

 

Senior Football – Played on carpeted floodlit pitches every day of the week this is a fast and competitive sport open to all abilities.

 

Junior Football – Sponsored by Lucozade for under 16’s only, junior 5-a-side football is played every Saturday all year round.

 

Student Football – Available to all Derby Uni students this fast and furious game is played every Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

 

Indoor Cricket – This fun and fast paced game is run for men, juniors and also mixed teams throughout the year. Once you become part of a team you can access fixtures, results and avergages online.

 

Indoor Netball – All versions of this popular game are played including Australian 5-a-side, mixed 6-a-side as well as the original 7-a-side netball

 

Megazone – The fun and futuristic kids play area with smoke, lights and laser guns and targets (like the original laser quest). Children from 7 and above can enjoy Megazone as a day out, for parties or club outings. Teams work together to outwit and blast the opponent’s targets with harmless but fun light guns scoring points for the team.

 

Children’s Parties – Willows Sports Centre will organise an hour of your chosen sport with referee followed by a hot buffet of pizza, chicken nuggets and fries. Alternatively you can book the Megazone play area.
