Y Not Festival Derbyshire
No need to listen to the rumours any longer, your complete Y Not Festival 2011 guide is here!
Dates: August 5th-7th 2011
As the summer approaches the people of Derby will be turning their thoughts to the festival season and the up and coming festivals in Derby and the surrounding areas of Derbyshire. One such event that is sure to be at the top of any good festival goer’s agenda is the Y Not Festival in Derbyshire.
The Y Not festival is a 3 day event set just outside Derby in the town of Matlock, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Peak District. With a capacity of around 5,000, Y Not Festival prides itself on being a more intimate event than its larger more commercial counterparts and aims to deliver great music to the people of Derby and around the UK.
The type of bands that tend to play at the Y Not Festival are not going to be your chart-topping A-listers but more likely an eclectic mix of music from Folk to Rock and allsorts in between by bands that are on the brink of success or newly emerging bands on the music scene.
